Members must be accredited investors under the SEC Regulation D, and must be able to invest on their own behalf. Members must demonstrate a certain level of operational and/or entrepreneurial experience.
Members must be recommended by a current ASV member and attend one meeting as a prospect before being approved to join.
As a member of Angel Star Ventures, we expect you to actively participate in the investment process by sponsoring, screening, and performing necessary due diligence on our potential inevestments. Additionally, we encourage members to mentor the companies in our investment portfolio as applicable, and in specific cases even serve on the company boards.
We expect members to attend all meetings for the full duration, actively participate in our monthly screening calls, and commit to invest at least $30,000 per year in ASV.
The commitment level varies for each member, but we require a minimum engagement of at least attending all monthly meetings and participating in various due diligence explorations throughout the year.
